There was a thought that crossed my mind toward the end of the trial. I haven't been able to shake it off since. Initially, we assumed the blood on the shirt from the café came from a new injury. But... [Reaching up to touch her ear, the same one that Hot Pants is missing.] If a slightly older injury was still fresh enough to need bandages, wouldn't it bleed the same as new if reopened?
