Nah, not really - or, um. Not if you know a forge well, I guess... The fire doesn't just leap outta nowhere since it's coal and not wood, and you only get sparks if someone's working on a project in it so it's basically just like sleeping in front of a fire place without a grate 'cuz you don't really need one.
